About Attorney Gina J. Calabro

     Gina Calabro has extensive experience in all aspects of family law, including divorce, complex asset valuation and division, alimony, child-related matters, including child support, child custody and removal, post-divorce modification, enforcement of alimony, child support and other judgments, complaints to establish maternity/paternity, negotiating and drafting prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and case consultation and evaluation. Gina is also a skilled neutral, assisting parties with resolving matters via the mediation or conciliation process. Gina has been appointed by the Court as Discovery Master and as counsel for the child.


     Most recently, Gina was a partner at Brick Jones McBrien & Hickey, LLP, Needham. From 2011 to 2016, she was an associate at Ginsburg Leshin Gibbs & Jones, LLP, Wellesley. Beginning in 2005, she was a member of the Family Law Practices group at Foley & Lardner LLP, Boston. While there, she also represented clients in securities, healthcare, and commercial litigation cases. 


     Prior to entering private practice, Gina was a law clerk for the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court in Bristol, Norfolk, and Middlesex counties, working directly with the justices in divorce, contempt, modification, probate, trust, guardianship and equity matters.


     Gina is a 2004 graduate of Harvard Law School where she served as a student attorney for the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, representing clients in family law matters in the Probate and Family Courts. She holds a B.A. in psychology from Brandeis University, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2001. While at Brandeis, Gina participated in the legal studies program and interned with Children’s Legal Services in Boston. Gina’s career path has always focused on working with individuals and families during times of challenge. Her academic background and legal experience have combined well over her decades long career to provide her clients with legal representation that balances empathy and business acumen.
